Kelly had an early influence into “sport” with lake life on Corey Lake in Three Rivers, MI. Swimming, sailing, skiing, canoeing, ice skating, cross country skiing. Kelly had so much fun and an abundance of experiences. Her father a USAF pilot brought the family into all this loved life. In the military moving around life, Kelly chose Ball State to study as her father faced reassignment. Studying Exercise Science and Aquatics at Ball State she has 40 years teaching and managing creative programming in large facilities in Louisiana, Indiana and Florida.
Personal injury needs brought Kelly into yoga and her YTT in Boca Raton, Florida with Leslie Glickman. An enlightened moment in a class brought about the direction for her book character Katie Ladybug which manifested into her first publication in 2021. Moving to the area to care for family she looks forward to sharing her creativity and love for physical movement in teaching at Beyond Zen.
