Nate started practicing yoga in 2010. Yoga has been a transformational journey for him. Like many often do, Nate initially looked at yoga as a means of physical exercise. Over time, it became evident that it is much more than just that. Nate sees the benefits of yoga not only physically, but also mentally & spiritually. Yoga quickly became one of the healthy pillars in Nate’s life.

Nate completed his certification in 2013 through Core Power Yoga in Salt Lake City, UT. This was initially a means just to deepen his own practice. After completing the training, Nate quickly became more of a part of the yoga community & enjoys leading others in their practice. Outside of class, he can often be found discussing with others how the mat blends with daily life in many different ways.

Nate approaches each moment on the mat with a “run-what-you-brung” attitude. This means no expectations, staying present & giving each moment the best you can that day. His styles of practice include both Hatha & Vinyasa styles, ranging from power flows to restorative stress relief. He also has certifications in ACE group fitness, TRX suspension training, Schwinn spin & Stott Pilates reformer.

Outside of class, Nate is a bit of a wanderer. He currently lives in Granger, but has traveled & lived in many places throughout the western US. He is an engineer for a hospitality company & also runs his own remodeling business. He has a wide range of personal interests including jiu-jitsu, triathlon & anything outside with his dogs.
