Alison Reinholt, RYT 200, wants to live in a world where breath and purposeful movement are taught in conjunction with athletics, academics, and problem-solving skills. Everyone deserves access to yoga classes because yoga can improve strength, balance, stamina, and energy.
As a yoga teacher, her style blends vinyasa with strength and stability, focusing on shifting energy through the breath. Her work with young athletes led her to explore ways to improve performance while minimizing and preventing injury, and ultimately to yoga teacher training. Her experience includes working with kids with disabilities, high-performing college athletes, and adults of all abilities.
After a back injury sidelined her from regular activities in 2023, she found relief through a variety of treatments and modalities, including Somatic Breathwork and Yoga practices. In the fall of 2024, Alison embarked on a 6-month journey earning her Somatic Healing Certification. Through these experiences, she learned the power of breath paired with movement to strengthen the body, refocus the mind, and release emotional blocks that can keep the spirit from reaching its full expression.
In her spare time, she can be found walking with her dog, with her family, traveling around the country, and leading somatic healing groups online.
